Laeds

The five-man band Laeds handcrafts progressive rock music, with love, from the Italian Alps.

The band was founded in January 2013 in the valleys of South Tyrol by three musician brothers who realized they had never played together before. Two friends joined the formation in the following years. They began songwriting, played as Upload-contest finalists in 2013, only months after their foundation, and participated in various street music festivals. In 2015 they won the Upload award for best south-tyrolean band  and started working on their first homemade album: Salvage, which was published September 2016.

Ema, Dam, Raffa, Gege and Lollo released their first live record in 2018 and just published their new, second full length album: HOMESTAGE. With Homestage, the band explores the crucial aspects of today's modern society, narrated through the lives of a wealthy family that would have every chance to live well, but in fact suffers a series of griefs, such as apathy, resignation, hate, deceit, acridity, shallowness.
